Introduction
Thank you for shopping with Sizygy LLC (“Sizygy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Because we sell curated vintage and secondhand clothing, each item in our inventory is unique and one-of-a-kind. We want you to love what you receive, and we stand behind the accuracy of our product descriptions. This Return & Refund Policy outlines the terms under which returns, exchanges, and refunds are handled.
By placing an order on sizygy.com (the “Site”), you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this policy.
1. Return Eligibility
We accept returns within 14 calendar days of the delivery date, provided the item meets all of the following conditions:
- The item is unworn, unwashed, and unused.
- The item is in the same condition in which it was received.
- All original tags, packaging, and accessories (if applicable) are intact and included.
- The item is free of stains, odors, pet hair, smoke, perfume, deodorant, or any alterations.
Returns requested after the 14-day window will not be accepted. Eligibility is determined based on the delivery date confirmed by the shipping carrier’s tracking information.
2. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are final sale and are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund:
- Items explicitly marked as “Final Sale” at the time of purchase.
- Gift cards and store credit.
- Items that have been altered, tailored, hemmed, or customized after delivery.
- Items that show signs of wear, washing, or use after delivery.
- Items returned without prior authorization (see Section 3).
3. How to Initiate a Return
All returns require prior authorization. To request a return:
- Contact us within 14 days of delivery at sizygy.us@gmail.com or through our contact form at sizygy.com/contact.
- Include the following in your request:
- Your order number.
- The item(s) you wish to return.
- The reason for the return.
- Photographs of the item in its current condition.
- We will review your request and respond within 2 business days with a return authorization and shipping instructions if your return is approved.
Items sent back without prior written authorization will not be accepted, and we are not responsible for unauthorized return shipments.
4. Return Shipping
- Customer responsibility: The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs, unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., wrong item shipped, item not as described, or item arrived damaged).
- Shipping method: We strongly recommend using a trackable and insured shipping service. Sizygy is not responsible for return packages that are lost, stolen, or damaged in transit. Proof of shipment does not constitute proof of delivery.
- Return condition: Items must be securely packaged to prevent damage during return transit. Items received in a condition that differs from the authorized return (e.g., damaged during return shipping) may be subject to a partial refund or rejection.
5. Refund Process
Once your return is received at our facility, we will inspect the item within 3 business days.
- Approved returns: If the return meets all eligibility requirements, a refund will be issued to your original payment method. Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your financial institution.
- Denied returns: If the returned item does not meet our eligibility requirements (e.g., signs of wear, missing tags, odors, alterations), we will notify you by email. You may request that the item be shipped back to you at your expense within 14 days. If no response is received within 14 days of our notification, the item will be forfeited.
- Original shipping fees are non-refundable, except in cases where the return is due to our error.
- Refund method: Refunds are issued exclusively to the original payment method used at checkout. We do not issue refunds via cash, check, or alternative payment methods.
6. Exchanges
Due to the one-of-a-kind nature of our inventory, we are unable to offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange an item, please initiate a return per this policy and place a new order for the desired item. We cannot guarantee the availability of any specific item.
7. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from the product description on our Site, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at sizygy.us@gmail.com with:
- Your order number.
- A detailed description of the issue.
- Clear photographs showing the damage, defect, or discrepancy.
If we confirm the item was damaged, defective, or incorrectly shipped, we will, at our discretion:
- Issue a full refund, including original shipping costs.
- Provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you.
Failure to report damage, defects, or errors within the 48-hour window may result in the claim being denied.
8. Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not received your refund within 10 business days of our approval notification:
- Check your bank or credit card account again.
- Contact your bank or credit card company, as processing times may vary.
- If you have completed both steps and still have not received your refund, contact us at sizygy.us@gmail.com.
9. Order Cancellations
- Orders may be cancelled within 2 hours of placement, provided the order has not yet been shipped. Contact us immediately at sizygy.us@gmail.com to request cancellation.
- Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled. You may initiate a return after delivery per this policy.
10. Sale and Promotional Items
Items purchased during a sale or promotional event are subject to this Return & Refund Policy unless otherwise noted at the time of purchase. Items marked as “Final Sale” at checkout are not eligible for return or refund under any circumstance except where prohibited by applicable law.
11. International Orders
For orders shipped to Canada or other international destinations:
- The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs, customs duties, and any applicable taxes or fees associated with the return shipment.
- Sizygy is not responsible for delays caused by customs processing.
- Refunds for international orders will be issued in USD to the original payment method. Currency conversion fees, if any, are the responsibility of the customer’s financial institution.
12. Limitation of Liability
Our total liability for any claim arising from a purchase shall not exceed the purchase price of the item(s) in question. Sizygy is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the purchase, return, or use of any product.
13. Governing Law
This Return & Refund Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under this policy shall be resolved in the courts located in Harris County, Texas.
14. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Return & Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Site following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
